The outside area, including the old bowling green (ideal for tea parties
or for young children as it’s surrounded by conifers for privacy) is
available for you to use. However, this is a public area and is
therefore not for the exclusive use of the hirer.
There is a small fenced play garden area* for the children, and the
playing field/football pitch* behind the hall that you can use.
(*The play areas and playing field are public areas and therefore no exclusive use
can be guaranteed.)
Do I have to lock up and can I leave things in the hall until the following morning?
Unfortunately due to heavy demand for the hall, it is not possible to allow hirers to leave things in the hall after their booking. Hirers are expected to clear up after their event, take all items away with them. Caterers should be informed that they must also take away all their equipment at the end of the booking.
